Red we hardly knew ye...

Some of you may have followed the story of Red and the Vitauke over on Flea Market Music, and strangely enough there is a minor Ukeland tie-in to this saga but it is a long story. I can vouch that Ukulele Ray is a standup person, so the doubting Thomases should just take a wait and see approach instead of posting.

If you haven't been following it check out the Flea Market board for the "Chat with Red of Harmony" and "Harmony Red in Ukulele Heaven." For a very interesting story of a prototype Vitauke, eBay and a chance bidder.

Keeping with the heart and spirit of the posts and the joy that ukuleles can bring - I encourage everyone to support the Ukulele Hall of Fame - Ukuleles for Kids Program. I'm going to see how I can help now!

New Stuff

Two new things - first off Nipper has started a players page with a blog and several songs - it is located here. If anyone else would like to switch to a blog page let me know - it may take a few days for me to get to it as busy as things are here. Of Nippers new songs he has up at the moment - I certainly have a personal favorite Bound for Ukeland I'm declaring it the official theme song for Ukeland :)

Gerald Readore has a great new song up - Uke Breezin - be sure to give it a listen as I think it is one of his best yet!
