Uke/Ukelele song - While My Guitar
Gently Weeps
- A minor

as recorded by
Jon Prown

Jake Shimabukuro's great version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, which is played in the key of Cm, has inspired many players--including me--to learn it note for note. Given the immense popularity of his arrangement, however, I also began to wonder recently whether it was even possible to come up with a different take on the song. This is my attempt. I've moved back to the original key of Am, which gives nice full chord voicings, and also tried to go back to many of the original guitar sections played by George Harrison and Eric Clapton.
